ASTORIA, Ore. – A Coast Guard rescue helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria, Ore., hoists a 53-year-old fisherman from a sinking vessel approximately 20 miles west of the Columbia River entrance, Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Coast Guard Group Astoria issued an urgent marine information broadcast (UMIB) and launched a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew from Station Cape Disappointment, Wash., and an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria.
