The National Weather Service In Buffalo Has Issued A * Flash Flood Warning For... Northeastern Cattaraugus County In Western New York...Southeastern Erie County In Western New York... Wyoming County In Western New York... * Until 830 PM EDT * At 531 PM EDT...Flash Flooding Was Reported From Thunderstorms Over The Warned Area. Rainfall Amounts In Excess Of An Inch And A Half Have Fallen Near Arcade...Varysburg...And Attica...With Additional Heavy Rainfall Likely To Produce Flash Flooding.

Excessive Runoff From Heavy Rainfall Will Cause Flooding Of Small Creeks And Streams...Highways And Underpasses. Additionally...Country Roads And Farmlands Along The Banks Of Creeks...Streams And Other Low Lying Areas Are Subject To Flooding. Do Not Drive Your Vehicle Into Areas Where The Water Covers The Roadway. The Water Depth May Be Too Great To Allow Your Car To Cross Safely. Move To Higher Ground.
