Clarification - Allegany State Park - Thomas Hamilton, 92 Missing
After speaking to New York State Park Police, there is a clarification in reference to the notes scribbled on the drawing distributed by a local media organization. The reference to "Cobolt Blue and Yellow" is not in reference to trail makers (just so there is no confusion) , but these were the colors on the floor of the shelter in the form of a "moasic" as per state park police.
In a News and Commentary posting late last night Motion Center, played devils advocate and noticed that there was a Blue Trail and an Orange Trail and a shelter, called a "lean to" nearby. When called for comment this was dismissed.
State police are searching in Allegany State Park, near Salamanca NY, for Thomas Hamilton, 92. New York State Park Police are now requesting the public's assistance from anyone familiar with Allegany State Park.
Anyone with information contact: New York State Park Police at 716-354-9111.
